INDUSTRY CERTIFICATION
Florida high schools, colleges and universities offer hundreds of certifications in a range of industries, from healthcare to emergency management to technology.
The overwhelming majority of jobs in the future will require some education after high school, but most jobs won't require a four-year college degree. Half of the top jobs will require a career and technical certificate, while 40% will require a college degree (Associate, Bachelor’s, or Graduate).
An industry certification is an assessment offered by a professional certifying organization for students in specific career fields.
Passing and earning an industry certification proves to potential employers that you have the knowledge, skills, and competencies necessary for a particular career. This is an achievement you will want to include on your resume to set yourself apart from other candidates.
