Testing Centers

Find the nearest testing center to take your exams.

Some online courses require students to take proctored exams. A proctored exam is one that is overseen by an individual (called a proctor) who monitors or supervises a student while he or she is taking the exam. The proctor ensures the security and integrity of the exam process.

Your course syllabus should contain the necessary information regarding proctored exams. If you’re unsure, ask your instructor. All proctors and proctored sites should be established at the beginning of the semester. Failure to do so may result in missing your testing deadline, receiving an incomplete grade for the course, or both.

Locate a Proctored Site

Search the list below to locate available testing centers in Florida. If there are none available near you, contact the testing center at the institution delivering your online course for instruction on identifying and getting approval for a proctor.

The Testing Center staff at your home institution must approve any testing site. Once you find a proctored testing center, contact your home institution for approval to take your tests at a proctored site listed here or to seek the approval of an alternative proctored site.

Out of State

If you need to take a test in another state or country, contact the institution delivering your online course for assistance in identifying and getting approval for a proctor near you. If you are in the military, contact your education officer and the testing center staff at the institution delivering your online course.

Cost

Testing sites frequently charge a fee and fees vary depending on the facility; some even require prepayment. Be sure to check with the testing center and review their current costs and guidelines on any fees associated with rescheduling, missed appointments, cancellations, and refunds. Students are responsible for paying any costs that may be incurred (proctor fees, etc.).

Hours

Testing center hours are listed for each site. Please be aware that some proctored testing sites are by appointment only and hours may vary. Contact the testing center to determine their service availability for your required exam dates and times, testing guidelines, and whether the site can accommodate the types of tests assigned.
