FloridaShines 3D Contest
** Please note: This contest has ended **
Welcome to the annual FloridaShines 3D Contest web page. We’re glad you’re here!
This annual contest is a fun way for students of all ages to share their interest in 3D printing. The contest is open to all students in Florida—from Pensacola to Key West, and all points in between. If you’re a Florida student and are into 3D printing, then this contest is definitely for you!
This contest is a fun opportunity for students – or even an entire class – to show off their 3D printing skills, and possibly even walk away with a nice prize for themselves or their school! And best of all, it's open to all levels of experience–from beginner, to hobbyist, to 3D enthusiast. So even if you’re new to 3D printing, this contest is a great way to learn more and share in the fun.
Winners will be announced at the Future of Education Technology Conference in Orlando in January 2017. All submissions will be added to The Orange Grove, a free digital repository of shared instructional materials and learning objects that Florida’s teachers can access and use as part of their courses.
